am I the only one that thinks, "no thank you"?
IMO, the car does not look hot/sexy/beauty overall. Yes, there are some very nice touches but overall it is not what I expected. Now tired A5 and C class still look better/equivalent to the new 4er however these cars will soon be redesigned whereas 4er will stay with us for the next 7 years. My major dislike is the hood lines, bumpers, front. In general, the car just looks like F30 with 2 doors. They seem to lost the trend started with E90 vs E92 which I liked. Yes, I'll wait for the car to come out and will test drive it so we'll see but for now it does not meet my expectations. |

Esthetically just gorgeous!
But I seriously doubt that a 428i is going to look like that. At least not without a lot of very expensive option packages. This unfortunately, is a very big tease. I just hope the new 2 Series takes it's queues from this. |

from the A-pillar back, this car is perfect.
from the A-pillar forward, this car is a bag of sh*t. that side-vent thingy is positively absurd. wtf is it there for?!? BMW has ruined the faces of these cars. Will. Not. Buy. |

Good looking car overall... definitely beefier and more exclusive looking than the e92. But i always liked the simple elegance of the e92, especially in m3 form. This looks like it's already beefy enough to be an M model, but i guess it can't be helped when competing cars like the A5/S5, C-coupe, and CTS coupe all have that beefy, very fast back appeal, and broad hind quarters look.
All that being said, thank God it is a concept b/c that rear bumper/diffuser looks messy, also waiting to see how nice the M-sport variant will look! good job B-M however some people are claiming its one of the nicest looking cars ever on this thread... let's tap the brakes on that kinda talk, we sound ridiculous when making such statements.

really like it but it looks like an optima front. the rear diffuser is really odd and the headlights break the angel eye design..

I wonder if the headlights and the taillights will be present on the production car as it is on the concept.

will hopefully be modern interpretation of an e46 in terms of responsiveness and clipped overhangs

I REALLY REALLY like it! I didnt think I would. I thought that I was going to be good with my NA V8. Now, I just want to see the real thing with performance parts / MSport AND the M4!
Somebody should Photoshop the front plate out on the first pic. Did anybody else notice that the tire size is 225/35/20? Isnt that kinda small? What does the F30 run up front? EDIT: Never-mind, I see the F30 is running 225/45/18s stock. So I guess thats about right. I am just used to my M3 sizes.

i'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but after looking at these pics I can't help thinking that the profile and the 3/4 rear have some Audi A5 in it.
But in summary.....the 4 series is a beauty! |

So who wants to guess the price bump over the e92 for all this "exclusivity"? I'm going to say $4,500. (Keep in mind much of it will be increased option prices.) And that means I'm either keeping my e92 or checking out an A5 when my lease is up.

Absolutely. This looks like a luxe-barge. Well, a miniature 6er luxo-barge.
