Ordered my new 440i GC (mineral grey with golden brown merino leather) a few weeks ago, looking to go into production week 48 for delivery week 52! Got a great price via TRL (saw the Q4 offer on the BabyBMW forum).

I've just checked my status and I've moved to 1200 (3rd time lucky) and gone to week 50 delivery.

Are you in the south? I'm in Scotland so if you're in the south that might explain it as they go to different ports.

New joinee here.. Hello everyone

I have placed an order last week of September

to 8200- Released to Carrier status in 3 weeks time.
Is stuck on that status since..

Expected delivery seems to be an auto calculated date
two weeks from now

So it Week 47 now.. Waiting game !!!

Looks like my car has finally been confirmed for production (5055) it's still showing week 47 production but now week 49 delivery, not sure i'm convinced by that delivery date.

My dealer contacted me yesterday to tell me that my car was in the paintshop. Genius team however are telling me that it doesn't go into production until next week. Not sure who to believe. Probabaly the genius team tbh as if Id relied on my dealer's previous updates, I'd have owned my car for over three weeks by now!
Anyone else experienced discrepancies between dealer and genius team dates?

Mine is in the country, has a reg number and everything. However as we've just fast tracked buying a house I've put off signing the paperwork and pickup until after we have the house keys in our hand so as not to jeopardise the mortgage (which should be in 2 and a half weeks all things going well!)

Genius told me this morning that they can no longer give out production status codes or estimated delivery weeks. They have recently been instructed by BMW UK Head Office not to do so, so it seems.
Maybe dealers have been getting pissed off with the genius team telling us the true version of events

Mind you, chatted with Genius just now and they gave me the status and code straight away - at 'Pre EU port of exit'. So, it looks like it depends on who you connect to

Just been on to genius and been informed my car is paint shop complete, it comes in on time for its new car detail.
