F31 tailgate not latching properly...

Is this a known issues / still known issue?

The tailgate opens & closes without an issue; but the final pull, like the soft-close part, isn't pulling the tailgate fully closed, so I'm having to put the weight of my hand on it for it to be shut/locked properly

Goes up & down fine, it's just that final part...

Any suggestions before I even start to think about returning it to the dealers we bought it from?

Cheers

Definitely not normal. A visit to the dealer might be your least hassle option.

There are little stoppers, usually one on either side of the boot/hatch, make sure these are not wound out to much.

Yeah already looked at those; but can't turn them and believe me, I've tried!

Worried that I'll rip the things off, but going to stick some WD40 on them when it stops raining and see if I can move them again.

They don't look like they're out too far; but then again they could be wound down too much

Mine was closing, but it wasn't being pulled shut at all

It now closes as it should with zero issues; think they replaced the switch and latch mech etc
