What day of the week does the boat normally leave ?

Mine's still build starting next week (week 44) but delivery week 46 (which is forward a week). That sounds like an impossible turnaround does it not?

After reading this I thought I'd better check mine. Order changed in august so effectively put me back to the start of the process, delivery was 1st week in Jan but its been put back to week commencing 11th feb! This is torture, I placed my original order at the start of may! Suppose its my own fault as I would have had it November but even that is a fair old wait!

Morning update from genius , it’s now status 9605 pre EU Port of Exit, I think that means it’s on the way !!!

My morning update is

"The current status of your new BMW is 9646 "Open Workshop Job" with the estimated delivery will be around the 2nd of November"

I've never seen a 9646 before, but I've been told it's at the dealers already

Spoke to the dealer this morning. My order is now Scheduled for Production as a result of their request for an order 'pull forward', based on the justification that they will lose money on my part ex if the delay continues. Its still week 46 build/week 49 delivery but I am being told that those dates will happen now whereas they were fluid before. I just hope he's right. He put the delay down to high demand for petrol engines and a supply problem with Icon Adaptive lights. If I get the car early December, it will have taken just over 4 months. Hardly a train smash. When I last ordered a new car, however, my F11 530d took 10 weeks.

Things are moving slightly ahead of schedule for me, now at 5200 "Paintshop Start"! It's nice to know that it's now a real thing in a factory

Picked mine up today.... proceeded to drive 2 miles to the train station and left it in the multi storey overnight, hardly ideal but I’ve got the keys now ��. Spent 10 minutes trying to find the least likely spot for it to get a car park ding but knowing my luck.....

51 hours and 34 minutes until collection, not that I’m counting or anything

heading on the 200 miles journey to the dealership tomorrow before Sunday collection

Has moved to 5055 Confirmed by Production Control when I checked this morning
Looks like I might actually be getting this car after all
