Using Insta instead Esys for coding
Hi guys.
I don't really trust the bimmercode app and the Esys doesn't seem to work reliably either. I'm wondering if its possible to code VO and FDL through ISTA? What is the reason no one is using it and there are no tutorials? Is this not available option? I tohught that ISTA is also used for programming, that should also include coding. Please explain me. Because from what I see, it's either Esys or Bimmercode for coding? Car in question: F30, 328i, 2016 |

Dealer/factory uses ISTA.
ISTA programs/codes to factory settings for that particular car. For example: if you have choosen Speedlimit info in option list, ISTA programs the default settings for Speedlimit info to work properly set in every ECU that is necessary. But factory/dealer does not use ESYS to program startstop default off. Hence it’s not even possible in ISTA to program that. |
