Should make a nice Christmas present for us 😜

Maybe they were so glad to get one sold that they rushed it through before you saw sense

Sorry ......... Couldn't resist it. I'm sure you will be happy when you see it.

Christmas come early I still can't get over how much better the HK sounds in the 1 series even though it has less speakers, always sounded a bit weak in the f30/32

Hmmm, that's interesting. Can't wait to do a direct comparison then...

enjoy it, I had one last year, albeit a 116i sport, the M sport was not an option at the time, in white with xenons (which were a must) and HK stereo.

I'd ad pics if I knew how to?

Perhaps I should read instructions first?? lol

I had a 1 Series Sport Alpine white 62 Plate until I got the 330 M sport in March.

Whilst I liked the car after a while I grew to detest the front nose, The non M Sport bumper was horrible.

I vowed never to go without the M Sport option ever again.. My wife had talked me out of it on the 1 Series and regretted it from the moment I got it. .. I wanted to think it was nice but it was just ugly.

The M Sport version I think is much better looking, I am sure the LCI will be even further improved.

I have both cars too but think the F30 sounds much better. But i agree that the amp struggles more in the F30 despite having more power.

That's really quite funny but probably very true. They even probably drive them backwards out from the factory so as not to frighten and sicken people with that ugly snout.

Perhaps the OP can use some of his skills with latex to pretty-up the damn thing. Plus his good wife can use some of her mascara and lipstick on it for further improvements.

Congratulations anyway.

In what way do you think it sounds better? It always sounded hollow and lacking in bass, my 1 series sounds like it has a proper sub, if I'd kept the 435i then I would have added a better stereo at some point, but I don't ever think that in the 1 series

I agree i can't get the base quite right but the system sounds more spacious and clear than in the 1 series. I don't have a lack of bass, its just that its difficult to get it sounding right if that makes sense!

I am literally no one to question your own unique style of interacting on a forum but I can't help but feel there is usually a general anger and bitterness in some of your comments which would probably be better left in your head than written down.

The OP is obviously happy with his purchase as he has put his money into the car and has posted up on a forum to make that choice public. No, not everybody has to agree that he has made the absolute best choice and be happy for him but surely if you don't particularly like it then don't bother commenting, or if you really must then soften it a little.

Have a great day

I had a 1 series before my 3. Was a great car but sadly mine was a lemon!! 116d M-Sport in EBII with coral red. It was fun though in the 18 months I had it.

Blimey, fair bit of a roasting for buying a new beemer :-(

Did you test drive a 125d? I'm interested to know how it drives. Heard it's a bi-turbo - is that right? If so, it must be quite an engine.

Hope your wife enjoys it.

@F30AM does speak his mind, and in doing so does do some good (sometimes)! It was mainly because of him that i got a 330d instead of a 320d, so for that he is forever in my good books!

And he is right, the 1 series has a face not even it's mother could love!

To add some balance I am actually looking forward to the pics of the new arrival, and more importantly your appraisal of how it drives?
