I'd like to start my own thread for this - so apologies for hi-jacking this one.

I tried modifying my friend's F20 VO for EBT. 6NH -> 6NK. All went fine with that, but then it come to code HU_ENTRY, and received an error. After rebooting he's got new menu items (bang and olufsen, and Spirit of ecstacy for example).

He doesn't have a combox, so I tried to change it back to 6NH today. Again changing VO went fine, came to try and Code HU_ENTRY - CAFD was missing, so used the "Detect CAF for SWE", selected latest version, tried to code. Received another error on TAL Execution:

Code:

RequestOutOfRange; LinkName: HU_ENTRY_63_ETHERNET

I think this may be due to the fact the I-Step of the vehicle is currently F020-14-07-505, but when connecting, the only projects I have available are:
F020_18_11_568 (Been trying this one)
and
F020_19_03_530

Both are above the current I-Step, but the ones available from Detect CAF are both lower than the current I-Step.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: (I'm now trying to change back to 6NH)

EBT for ENTRY, CHAMP2, or CIC Head Units without standalone Combox is not possible.

You need to inject CAFD back into ENTRY and VO Code it as you tried. Make sure FA has 6NH not 6NS in it, and try again. And make sure motor is running.
