Increase Distance from the car when open/close the top with key fob remote (f33).

Is it possible to increase the distance for opening&closing the hardtop? I can open the car from several yards away, but closing&opening of the hardtop is possible from only about a yard away.

Did you ever figure this out? It's annoying having to stand next to the door while waiting for the top to go up.

Touch the remote on you face and try it, it increases the distance by a few feet.
