I never used Zlink, but regardless of that it's a broken software (like all that comes with these units). You will be much better off with Carlinkit. Just watch some reviews on YouTube (there is a channel dedicate to these devices) and purchase one of Amazon.

Interesting. Does the Carlinkit support E61s? I have this unit in my M5 as well and that is one causing issues.

As for the native support in various cars, well new cars might benefit of that, but certainly older ones wouldn't support that at all. I think generally speaking you would need 2018 and newer tech in your car to utilise Carlinkit natively. |

Note: all Updates from 3.1.6+ are only Supported by native Android 10 Headunity anymore, do not Update if your Headunit is not native, it will be 100% bricked !
For identifying your Headunit please check HERE. Also this 4th Post at Page 1 will be the place where i post further updates. Please note, all further Updates are also only checked via code analysing from now on and not pretested on my Test Bench Unit as this is no native A10 Device. All further updates do also have changes in .mbn files, so identifying a compatible Update by the additional .mbn files is not applicable anymore. As there have been made some mayor changes, its probably not wrong to performe the installations as Factory (Ksw-Q-Userdebug_OS_vx.x.x_FACTORY-ota) or Factory-Reset installation to have a clean setup again. I checked the update in comparison to 3.1.5, this version 3.1.6 is from 18th August 2021. Code:
ro.build.display.id=Ksw-Q-Userdebug_OS_v3.1.6 ro.build.version.incremental=eng.lijun.20210816.174852 ro.system.build.date=Mon Aug 16 17:48:47 CST 2021 ro.system.build.fingerprint=qti/msm8953_64/msm8953_64:10/QKQ1.191008.001/lijun08161748:userdebug/test-keys Changelog:
I checked the update in comparison to 3.1.6, this version 3.1.8 is from 20th August 2021. Code:

I checked the update in comparison to 3.1.8, this version 3.1.9 is from 1st September 2021. Code:

I checked the update in comparison to 3.1.9, this version 3.2.2 is from 4th September 2021. Code:

Hi there,
Lurker on this thread, first post here. I'm considering switching my 10.25 Andream MMI screen (basically, a simplified MMI box within a 10.25 screen) to a 10.25 Android Unit, although my current built-in Android Auto fits my needs. Actually, the only reason for me to switch to an Android HU is that it is only way to bypass the (terrible) built-in aftermarket HU DAC in favor of an external one, such as the advertised Fiio E10k. I only have 2 use cases for that unit, which are navigation and music. But I expect them to be top-notch... Similary to the Android units, my MMI screen sends out the sound to the car through AUX. As I don't have a combox (basic audio system from the factory), the AUX signal is routed from the quadlock connector, without having to connect the additional AUX wire provided. So I did a little research & testing with my current setup: I played music from the MMI screen, then plugged another device playing another music via the AUX input in the armrest, which is the target setup with the DAC. Unfortunately and as I was afraid of, it ended up... simply mixing both input! I was hoping that pluging the 3.5mm jack in the armrest would switch-off the output from the quadlock, but it apparently didn't. So my concern is the following: does any of you using a DAC, went through similar unwanted signal-mixing issues by connecting the DAC to the harmrest, while having the AUX connected through the quadlock? Or does the Android unit have a refined routing logic, for instance, by switching off analog AUX signal when an external DAC is connected? Many thanks in advance for your insights! |

It had to be that way but I preferred asking... Thanks for confirming.
And I assume that the priority is given/setable to the DAC (in the HU), considering that both output (AUX and USB) would be plugged permanently. Right? |

Hi guys, What do you think about this unit for my f45? I do not want to buy any fake unit. This vendor offers snapdragon 625 msm8953 in this 4+64GB 8,8" screen (I think is the maximum size the car fits). Do you think is a good option? Thank you!

ms9120 is pretty new, i think you are the first one using it at all here You can`t downgrade the unit to Android 10, SD662 is developed only with A11. Does the issue also apear with the default screen ? Other than that, probably only the Seller can help, as its a brand new feature. Kri |

Hey there again! Haven't been around this thread for a while.
I am currently trying to edit the Eventcenter with Dexpatcher, as in this github below. Did you guys encounter any issues with it? I am getting errors with Android Hidden APIs I believe for Android API 27 (head unit has Android 8.1). Cannot recall if the github is from @Kri or someone else.https://github.com/chinesebmwheadunits/eventcenter |

Hi guys, is it possible to have Wi-Fi on and the hotspot? To connect Android car wirelessly I need it to be through Wi-Fi but if I link it with Android auto I don't have internet.
