Alpine White or Glacier Silver W/ Coral Red
So I am dead set on one of these two color combos for my next F32. Whats everyones opinion? Post pics if you gotem. And before you say I should do Mineral Gray...I agree, but my current 328i is MG and I am looking to do something new.

tbh those two are the best color combo..(with red interior) its gonna have to come down to personal preference..... WHITE is harder to keep clean is all i can say

I love my alpine white f30 (no coral seats), but if I were to buy another it would be mineral grey.
Will also add that alpine white is a pain in the ass to keep clean. Although swirls may not be AS visible, the smallest bit of dirt/mud/grime catches your eye immediately. |

Plus the silver is metallic. It would look stunning in sunlight.

Being honest I sent white looks better much of the time. Silver has its moments where it looks good but red on white is a nice combo. But really they are both really good. I find the silver to look best at night for some reason.

I’m partial to White. Thought about a red interior but at the time it just seemed too in your face to live with daily. But, in retrospect the red is really sweet. The Silver/Red combo would also be great. Kind of a no lose situation.

Is Mineral White Metallic still available? It's a dynamic color vs. Alpine.

I like the mineral white metallic, but I would go for the silver. I find that the silver colour accents the creases and lines of the car. White tends to wash out the contours of the body more, sort of like a photograph that has been over exposed. YMMV, etc. Buy what is the most pleasing to your eye.

I may be in the market for a 335i or 340i m sport in a couple years, so I have thought a little bit a bout color combos.
The two best are saddle / white and coral / silver. So if you are dead set on coral, I would say silver.

I've seen a Silver on Coral and it's a beaut. White with Red interior is just so common these days. About 100% of the XSE Toyota Camry's that I see have the White w/Black Roof and Red interior.
I'd say go with Silver. That's just because I have a white on red 340 and its ok (still a beautiful car) but I'd honestly rather have Leguna Seca Blue (even though it isn't available) that's a BEAUTIFUL color. So once again Silver on Coral.

Thanks for all the responses. Im even more torn than ever lol. I am going to continue keeping an eye out for both and depending on if the right one comes around from either colorway ill decide then. For whatever reason I am still drawn a little more to white on red but I would absolutely go for a silver on red if its right.

Give silver two months, and you will wish you had gone with the ultra bright whiteness of AW paired with the beautiful coral. Mineral or metallic white doesn't have that *brightness* that makes Alpine White so special. Also, to make your car absolutely drop dead gorgeous, accent that bright whiteness with official blacked out M grills, carbon fiber mirror caps, and orbit grey wheels. You can go for that sliver of a spoiler BMW makes as well, as well as carbon fiber tips... god that is so hot. Better yet, get the AW/coral combo as a convertible with the moonlight top (this is exactly what I have). Here is the thing; a lot of the people suggesting silver here are playing it very safe (read: boring) for either practical reasons or whatever. Don't be that guy, stand out. If you are worried about keeping the car clean, get ceramic pro coating done on it ASAP and then it is super easy to clean. Simple. |
