Noelified I've thought about painting mine blue but then thought that it might look goofy since i have the small regular calipers and not the track package big blue calipers but i must say, yours came out great!!

Thanks I'm glad to hear that because I thought the same but went for it anyway. Because of the size it's kind of subtle, also since the body color is sapphire black it doesn't seem like a mismatch of color. Overall I'm quite happy. I was also debating silver just to prevent ugly rust. I think that would look good too.

One kit easily painted 3 coats on each caliper and I had some left over. It's actually epoxy and not paint so it withstands heat and abrasion much better. Also, and this might sound odd, but being a brush on application made it much easier. No need to mask off and worry about overspray. You also build up a nice thick layer and its high gloss. You just need to be very patient and take your time. It's also easier if you are able to jack stand your entire car and have all four wheels off at the same time. That will make all the difference. Since it is epoxy and not paint, it cures from chemical reaction and not evaporation of solvents. From time of mixing to cure is about 4 hours then it's too thick to brush on and is pretty much curing. So in all plan a weekend when you can lift the car, spend a good time cleaning the calipers. Then brush on one caliper at a time and by the time you finish the fourth caliper (15-20 minutes) the first caliper has cured enough for the second coat, and so on. Then don't drive for at least 8 hours. i would recommend at least 3 coats there is enough for 4. I'll post pics later, it totally worth the effort.

Wow those look great. I am assuming you don't need to use clear coat?

Thanks, I'm happy with it.
Nope. No clear, and after 50k miles still look just as good. No chipping or dulling. Break dust just washes off.
