The poly bushings don't impress me in their design. More of a cost cutting decision. What I don't see either on the newer design is a new thrust bearing on the camber plate. They recycle the old potentially worn one from the old OEM camber plate.

Regarding the Millway control arm monoballs. IMHO they are more expensive than VAC and quite frankly I don't think they are worth it.

well I think the only fair way to judge them is to drive each set on a car back to back. also they're very similarly priced, the Millways are $1098 pre tax and VAC are $1099...

I upgraded the stock upper and lower control arm bushings on my 2014 335i xdrive to VAC monoballs and love them. The steering is much more precise, cornering is much improved. There is minimal change in NVH. I feel bumps a little more but it's very minor.

As Johnung noted, F30 xdrives come from the factory with sloppy, vague steering. These fix that. It's not quite as good as my E92 335i (RWD - sport suspension) but it's pretty close.

Recommended.

Do anyone know if it's possible to get VAC UCA in Europe? If I have to add shipping and taxes I think I'll try Millway

I don't believe you can order when they're out of stock.

You can from VAC’s website. But when I called I was told the shipping date is unknown.

I didn’t place an order after all. Maybe you can see a shipping date by placing one.

Oh interesting. Did they give you a reason why they didn't know a ship date?

Doesn’t matter to me. No stock is no stock. You can give them a call if you have any questions.

I called VAC about a year ago regarding the upper control arms and they said the same thing; unknown ship date with no explanation. It's possible they make them in batches but only when enough interest is generated. I ended up ordering from Kies Motorsports because it was a better deal. They also said they were out of stock, and the order was dropshipped from VAC within 8 days.

It’s sold out in Kies as well. Cannot place an order on their website. I added my email into the “notify me” list. Hope new batch will be made soon.

There can be a big difference in brands. VAC are the best. I’ve had them on my XDrive 335i for years.

I ordered upper and lowers for my F31 xDrive from VAC directly last week. They said there was a 3-4 week lead time.

VAC is in the process of building a larger production facility outside of Philly. I have no idea what stage of the process they're in, but if they're moving people/equipment/etc or if they slowed production to plan for a move and ran into delays, it's going to cause problems.

Actually I was supposed to place an order last Thursday for a set for my F30 Xdrive. The lady I spoke to said they would be shipping some.

Also for guys out there that only are driving street but want a more responsive steering setup consider what I did which was to add 245/40/19 Bridgestone RE71S on a set of 19x9.5" rims. It is way more responsive and doesn't need stiffer control arms.
