"Welcome Lights"

With this option unchecked, the puddle lights don't come on when locking/unlocking the car. Also, they don't come on when you select reverse (even if it has been coded to do so).

With this option checked, they come on when locking/unlocking, and with reverse selected. This is what I want.

With this option checked, and the lights in "Auto", the headlights come on when you unlock the car. This I don't want.

Is there any way to keep the puddle lights, but not have the headlights come on in auto mode when unlocking the car?

And that will leave the puddle lights as active in all the instances?

The Welcome Lights is in the FEM section?

Yes, I think this may be the headlights in FEMBODY 3062

I managed to change this in Bimmercode, FEM section, non expert mode, under "Welcome Light", to the "Welcome Light Activation" (out of the 3 options: Light switch on auto, Light switch on auto or 2, Not active), clicked on "Not active" and that sorted it.

Thanks for the reply Teaston, appreciated

Its nice how granular you can set this. I have mine set to do fogs, headlights, puddle lights and rears on lock/unlock.

It's wonderful, isn't it.

I don't think I can do without the coding now, it's brilliant how you can set the car to be to your own preference.

Mine is set to only puddle lights on, and obviously indicators, I like to attract minimal attention but I can't say no to those puddle lights

Got to love a bit of coding!

I've coded my welcome lights too - indicators on the headlights and mirrors come on softly with the DRL's, headlights and fogs

Am I the only one that likes it with the least "attention" then?
