N0Chill's F30 Photoshoot Thread UPDATED 04/09/18 Easter Sunday

Hello all. I wanted to create a thread for the photoshoots of my new baby.
2013 AW F30 335i. I had the same kind of thread for my previous e92 335i which can be seen here:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1277058

All photos are taken with my Nikon D5500 using either the 18-55mm or 50mm 1.8g. I edit with Lightroom 6 and I'm gonna try to start getting into Photoshop to work on the fine details... When I can find the time. I have 6 locations planned to hit for the summer so I hope to update this thread regularly.

Thanks, enjoy.

If you like what you see and have any questions about my modifications, please check out my progress thread here:

Thanks man. A LOT of research went into this. I'm like obsessed with fitment for wheels and tires. I like the spoiler as well, painting the roof black sometime this summer and thinking of playing around with some custom diffuser ideas. I try to only enhance the look of the photos versus a super heavy editing process.

Looks awesome! I love the 437M ...I'd have gotten them in a heartbeat if BMW offered them from the factory on our cars.

How do you like the gloss black M Performance lip? Would you paint it gloss black again if you had to do it over? I ask because I'm contemplating getting the lip ...and haven't seen one in person.

Also man I would bump the exposure on those shots a lot ...are they HDR? I did a quick edit for you in PS6. Basically I sit there and bumped the exposure until I started to lose the details on the car. Otherwise the shots are nicely done.
(Hope it's OK, PM me I can take down the pic)

I love the gloss black. I dislike the matte paint look on cars and I'm not a fan of carbon fiber at all unless it's on a dark colored car where black is not an option. I'd do it 10 times out of 10 if given the choice.

I used to edit my pictures like that. I've changed my style and prefer to leave the pic with a slightly shadowed tone. The pic can stay up, I have no issues with it.

Car looks amazing, the only thing I noticed was the little gaps in the front spoiler, you just need to colour the gaps black.

Thank you sir.
eBay.
I think it was like $150 painted. Check out the Taiwan sellers. Fitment is about 95% and paint is really good for the cost.

I love it sir. Can't wait to paint my roof so it flows better. I highly recommend it before everyone starts rocking it... It's coming. Lol

She's coming along. A few more aesthetic things to do this year, then power mods next year.

Thank you sir. It's on the list. When I take it in to have the roof painted I'm gonna have them put some black vinyl in that area. It bothers me in EVERY picture.

Yea, they're my favorite current OEM style wheels. I like them a lot and it shows why so many ppl run them on this platform.

Recent shoot at the Sam's Club gas station near my house. I didn't realize until editing that the car was half and half with the light source... Made it quite the challenge to edit. But I learned some good stuff and I'm pleased with the results. Brought out my 50mm which was great but I'm mad that I didn't use a remote sensor for the shutter. Anyway, enjoy.

Gloss black, eBay. Like $70, good paint and 9/10 fitment. It does the job. I'm not a fan of CF parts.
