The ET45 will look great as well, and you definitely can't go wrong with Gunmetal on Alpine White!

These initial wheels were actually purchased from one of our distributors and custom machined for your order (as most of our wheels are). It's not uncommon for resellers to go through our distributors, that's what they're there for, but it's worth knowing the transaction (and fitment advice) was not through us directly. Since then, your shop has contacted us directly and has been in close talks with our wholesale department to help assist with correcting the situation. We're helping them out with the circumstances in mind, so I'm a little surprised to hear they're pointing fingers our way. They seem to be stepping up, so nothing negative to speak of from our end

Most importantly, I can confirm the ET45 wheels are in the works for you so you should be set soon!
I can't thank you enough! This is my 3rd set of VMR's (I had VMR's on a B6 S4, an E46 M3, and now the F30 335i), and I've been happy with all of them, with the exception of the current mishap. My shop did inform me that they're in the process of working it out with you guys directly. My shop ordered them from ECS Tuning, but I believe they're in the process of setting up an account with you guys directly. Thank you again for looking over the matter! I'll be happier when my car is sitting on the correct offset rears...

Lol yeah thanks, I didn't think of looking at the previous generation but it's the color matching that really matters, thanks for thinking outside the box

My V710FF's R19 matte graphite (19x8.5 ET35/19x9.5 ET45).
225/40 front, 255/35 rear.
It's almost impossible to get runflats here in 235/265, but 225/255 are also good.

This looks great! Any plans to lower it? A nice drop would really tie it all together! The brakes look !

We're having a very snowy winters here, so even a stock suspension seems to be too low sometimes

Damn! The gunmetal 710's look Stunning on that blue!!! it's one of the few colors that any of the VMR colors look good on, but it seems that the gunmetal looks best!

Here she is after the offset was replaced to the proper size.
VMR 710's in Gunmetal:
19x8.5 in the front (ET35) with Michellin PS4S 235/40
19x9.5 in the rear (ET45) with Michellin PS4S 265/35

I think they look good, but my wife has already curbed the rear driver side wheel going into a McDonald's drive-thru, to buy me a Carmel Sunday (as a surprise), and the machine was broken! So she came home empty handed and a scraped rear wheel that's probably been on the car for under 14 days when it happened...

Running a 275 probably would have helped save the wheel? Maybe

How do you remove the center cap the wheels come with and put the BMW cap in? Is it fairly easy? Can you do this on any rim?

TY!

TY!
The best way is to push them out from the backside of the wheel. Most OEM BMW caps can be inserted into any of our wheels!

Awesome! TY

Also from what I understand, these are gravity cast rims. OEM rims are forged. These weigh more than OEM inherently. Is there any downside to that other than fuel efficiency and acceleration?

Where'd you hear your this? Not all OEM wheels are forged, in fact I think most available on f30 aren't. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though...

Ordered some V710FF's (19x8.5 et35 & 19x9.5 et45) in Bronze Burst for my AW 335ix from Brandon and he was awesome and easy to work with! Now the hardest part comes the wait!! I will also be getting KW V1 coilovers installed with the wheels so it will be a dramatic upgrade from the off road stock look of the xdrive. So to beat a dead horse... I'm thinking of doing 235/35/19 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rear. From my research it should be within the 1% but will I rub with such a wide tire in the rear if I'm looking to drop a good amount?

Side question, I was considering getting the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Any one suggest against them?

-Vlad

245/35, 275/30 is 1.2%. i have seen people running this combo on x-drive and not have problems however, imo, 235/35 with 275/30 would be better combination since they are both both 25.5" diameter.

no experience with the tire choices but from what i've read, you may also want to consider general gmax-rs or falken azenis fk510 in the ultra high performance summer category. the firestone is a good choice as well, though.
