Nice!

What's your spec?

Are you Ian from the old BMW Car forum that had the E36 M3 lump in a black E30 sport?

It started life as a 1991 E30 325i Sport. I bought it back in 1996, and until the F31 arrives, is the newest car I've owned (at the time of purchase).

It had a variety of engine modifications over the years, and had a very nice 2.7L conversion for a few years (stroked to 2.7L, Big valve head, Schrick cam etc). In about October 2002, I took it off the road to start fitting an E36 M3 Evo engine and 6 speed box from a 1998 M3. This took about 5 months to complete, and it's been pretty much like that ever since. It's also got some big old brakes from a 993 Twin Turbo Porsche (Big Reds, although mine are black).

It's a bit of a garage queen these days, but has been to the Nurburgring a couple of times, and quite a variety of track days. It's also featured in a number of magazine articles over the years.

Here's a few pics.

That is bloody lovely mate! Exactly how a modified car should be done, understated, classy and with much more power than standard!

Apart from the induction kit (and presumably a stainless sports exhaust) are there any other engine mods?

Thanks.

Apart from the intake and exhaust, it’s pretty much stock. It has been mapped, but more to fine tune the engine to the new exhaust. It made 318bhp when it was mapped.
