Coding ? , again.
I have been looking into doing some Bimmercode / Carly coding to personalise my motor but was waiting until i got the MPPSK fitted in case i had to re-do it after the ECU updates.
The car is going in for the work on Thursday so i was looking to start my coding journey at the weekend , but : My next mod will be the heated steering wheel update which requires VO coding which cant be done via the app method, so i was considering just getting my personal coding done at the same time as the VO coding to save me the bother as once i have got the car the way i want it then i dont see the coding via an app being a regular occurrence. Next ? , is there anywhere (recommended) around the Glasgow area that offers VO coding or is it something that can be done remotely or at the dealers as my car is in on Thursday anyway. Kenny |

Never used them so cannot comment. The *** should read B M W Coding (with no spaces) but cannot get the post to represent that ???? |

I would still recommend getting a coding device. You are correct that once coded, there isn't much application for it, but "not much" isn't "none"
- Coding gets lost due to SW updates from BMW (MPPSK is a good example) - New features become available or get discovered The investment in a carly /bimmercode is not that great so I'd still keep one in the drawer
