Bavsound Ghost sub

I have 1 working Bavsound 2 ohm ghost sub. The other speaker is dead.

How did the speaker die? Is it because they're bad quality? I've been thinking about upgrading to them for a while.

The story is they were bought new. When installed they did not work. Bavsound did not want them back and sent out another pair.
