Cant decide.....
Someone please help sway my decision I can't decide.
Car has worn thrust arms, control arms are ok but the car does have 125,000KM on it (about 77k miles) so im sure they are tired. Car had KW coilovers recently installed 10k ago and alignment, drives great other than the clunk when rolling down driveway and brakes applied. Should I replace just the thrust arms with TRW, no alignment required or, M3 LCA / thrust arm with a new alignment Big difference in cost here,I don't track the car but do spirited street drives often. Thanks

You can get Meyle HD arms overseas and they seem to be near or barely short of M3 arms. So IMO your choices should be between that and M3.

And anyway, M3 thrust arms are exactly the same length as stock (i had them before). I suggest you upgrade to monoball thrust arms bushings, that will be much better! (Millway work great - http://www.millway.se/front-control-...w-f2x-f3x.html)

Depending on last time it was aligned you may need an alignment with new thrust arms.
I did m4 LCA first, got an alignment, but while I was under there I noticed my TS were leaking oil. When I replaced them with the m4 ones alignment was thrown way off. |
