Coilovers settled unevenly in rear?

So I recently purchased BC Racing BR series coilovers and installed them myself... all looked well after the install. But after about 100 miles of driving, the rear springs settled (expected). The surprising part is the rear-right settled much more than the left. I can’t fit a finger between the tire/fender. But The left side has a little more than a finger of wiggle room.

I’d also like to note that I have the adjustable spring perch set to MAX HIGH.

Two questions:
1. What could be the cause of the rear being uneven?
2. Is the rear supposed to be this low at max height? (I did not buy the extreme low kit)

Will post photos when I get a chance.

Manufacturing quality control is the likely reason. Rear right and left components should have been inspected much closer.

Please post photos when you can.

Did you leave or remove the oe spring pads before installing the new BC adjuster and spring?

I ran into a similar issue when installing KW V1s on my F31. The rear adjustable springs were set 0.25" apart and ride height was almost even, but still off. I took it apart and reinstalled 6 times before giving up and letting the alignment shop figure it out. They were able to get the height right, saying it was due to camber adjustment / other alignment issue. Explanation made no sense to me, but it's even now. This was my 3rd suspension DIY on a BMW, first time I have run into this issue. I'm still puzzled.

Also worth considering front adjustments affecting the rears, particularly if you only adjust one of the fronts rather than both - think about getting a tripod level.
