No matter which method (fob, cabin button, trunk button) the motor makes a whirring sound, but doesn’t unlatch. I literally have to drop the rear seat, climb in, and pull the manual release cable. I’ve had the ‘unlatch/no lift’ issue before, but have found pushing fob button caused a lift. This one kind of has me freaking out and I haven’t found it addressed elsewhere.

I seem to have the same issue, but I can't for the life of me find a way to open the boot from the inside?

There's a manual release handle just inside the lid.

I have the same problem once in a while; it acts like it's just a little sticky. Somehow the seal is proving a little stronger than the hydraulics.

Same here.
Stuck to the seal once in a while on hot days , need to help it loose and then it works fine for days.
