2019 BMW 440xi  [0.00]
Hi All,

I'm new here and in need of some help.
I have a 2019 BMW 440xi with 18" wheels and want to upgrade to 19" wheels. I found wheels of marketplace

Front - 225/40/19
Rear - 255/35/19
Boltpattern - 5x120

Took it to the mechanic and turns out front tires are too big to fit my car. Can someone help me in figuring out which 19" wheels will fit the car(preferably OEM).

Help is very much appreciated.

the marketplace 19" tire sizes you listed are OEM staggered tire sizes. how that your mechanic determined they are too big?

all OEM 19" with 225/40/19+255/35/19 for F3X will fit, such as 442M, 403M, 704M

I have a 2017 BMW 440xi with this setup. It was packaged like this from factory. Even with X-Drive models, they can still be fitted with the staggered setup.

I知 curious to know which tires youre using, depending on the sidewall height I could see it being too large. But even then on MPS A/S I still have plenty of wheel gap.

Thank you guys for the response.

The mechanic mentioned that the gap between the tire and the body is way too close and that it would hit the body of the car even on slight dip in the road. I wasn稚 too sure to just ask him to install and give it a try.

Sounds like he doesnt know what hes talking about considering those are OEM tire sizes used by BMW on certain equipped 440s
