F31 320D manual gearbox grinding

Hello, I have a problem with my F31 which has to do with the manual gearbox.
Whenever I push the car hard and shift into 2nd gear the gears grind but only in 2nd gear. At all other times when I'm just casually driving it, it shifts just fine into all gears. It's only when I launch the car hard that it grinds into 2nd gear.
Anybody else had this problem or know what is the cause??
It's a F31 320D sport 2013, driven around 150.000 km

Normally a worn synchro gear if it happens when pushing on

Yeah I just found a thread about this, literally right after I posted this.
BMW probably won't cover this since the car is 6 years old and driven 150.000km right??...

Not to be mean but hell no, haha. Try a fluid flush, sometimes the friction modifiers in the new fluid can make them engage a little easier but it’s only a bandaid to the problem.

You can also change the fluid at the clutch master, low fluid can also cause this by not fully disengaging the clutch

Haha yeah, I wasn't really expecting that to happen. Did already change the fluid once, came out pretty gray, so I will probably change it again.
Did also change the brake fluid, pretty sure the clutch master shares a resevoir with the brakes right?

Will just have to granny the second gear until I have to change the clutch and will change the gearbox at the same time when I can afford another gearbox.

They share the same fluid (brake fluid) but i'm not sure if they share the same reservoir as I've never owned a manual BMW, all manual cars i've owned the clutch system was separate from the braking system. 150k km's seems awfully early for synchros to go out as well so it could just be an engagement issue.

Yeah most older cars had a seperate reservoir for the clutch, but most all newer manual cars share a reservoir with the brakes, and a quick google about it says I´m right. But I can possibly bleed more fluid from the clutch lines. I'm a mechanic at BMW in Iceland so I know a bit about these cars but definietly not a gearbox expert as we rarely get a car here that's manual. Yeah I thought so too, I find it quite amazing that a synchro would go so early even though the fluid hadn't been changed in 150km's. But like I said earlier, I found another thread on here that says that some people have had issuses with this even earlier, early as like 22 thousand miles. And to think I had more worries about the timing chain, never thought this could have been more of an issue than that.

Go under the car and bleed the clutch line. The easiest way is to pump fluid up into the bleeder screw.

On mine the 1-2 shift is extremely slow .. you have to give the synchro time to sync up. Ensure you are not slamming it give it the time it needs.

But in all likelihood you are probably effed. Once that starts it only gets worse. I lived with that on my Subaru for about a year and then it started popping out of 2nd hard. I would eventually start looking for a used trans and diy replace it. Do the rear main and clutch kit.
