The Detail of the weekend drive and meet up out of Sydney-Hunter Valley

Sun 3rd November 2013 (CONFIRMED)
Time: 9.15am-5.30pm

The round trip at Hunter on the map is about 90km, we can certainly shorten it if you want more time enjoying the food and wine sections

Sydney Travelling North Meeting Place and has not been to Corrugated Cafe at Peats Ridge9.15 am: Deerubbun Reserve Car Park (you have to go around) after crossing the Brooklyn bridge on M1 Pacific Motorway. Will depart about 9.25am so should get to Corrugated cafe about 9.40am

Newcastle/Central Coast Meeting Place 9.30 am: Corrugated Cafe, Peats Ridge Road (large cafe and parking area)


Aiming to arrive the first winery about 11am.

AMJAM x2 (MR and MRS - will team up with KT to meetup at Lindfield and drive up to Corrugated Cafe)
Minijet x1 (You can meet us at Corrugated Cafe)

Coming from Newcastle:
HFW003 x1 (DR-JKEL will PM you for meeting place to Corrugated Cafe)
DR-JKEL from E90 forum x2 (MR and MRS, might have an M3 fan coming)

Everyone is welcome and also sent some invites to fellow Sydney 1/3/5 owners, hope a few more to join.

Wineries to Visit:
Bimbadgen, Brokenwood and Mt Pleasant (the flow of traffic in this case), feel free to suggest another wineries, but aim to go max 4 as we probably can't drink and taste much as drivers! I could go to Bimbadgen to pickup my computer there as I had recently worked with the winery during the vintage.

Meetup, BMW Stealership talk, Detailing Advices, Coding Suggestions (H might get your coding done!)

Photo Shoot:
I'm prepared to bring my 5D and few L lenses for some photo shoot, feel free to bring your gear to take some moving car photos in the less crowded and crowded sections of Hunter Valley. If you have a GoPro Hero, bring along for some nice scenic videos.

Your Bimmer, remember we are going through the country, you will have quite a few bugs kissing your bumper! BUT NICE CLEAN CAR WILL MAKE THE PHOTOS POPPED! would like to chat about the cleaning your car to the madness symptoms (I am suffering it every weekend)

We do not promote hoon driving and driving under influence of alcohol. So if you decide to drink above the legal limit, please keep them for your non-driving friends and family members.

I hope we get a few more responses than the last few times we have tried to organise a meet.

I didn't vote in your poll but I am happy with a drive to either the beautiful Hunter Valley or the Blue Mountains.

I can't do a two day trip that weekend as I will be in Sydney on the Friday night and won't be available on the Saturday.

i am going to Bathurst this weekend to visit friends. Will post some pics for the Pre-Bathurst 1000, hopefully the track is open for public this weekend.

Heading off to Victoria next whole week, hope Europcar gives me a nice free upgrade (Mercedes or Audi will be fine!)

Let's lock it in hunter. So it is closer for H. Hope they have fixed the bumpy intersection at tempus two/brokenwood. I hated that d grade intersection.

They haven't fixed that, or any other intersection, in the Vineyards for years!

I'm happy to go to the Blue Mountains if it suits, don't just come up here for me.

I cant make either day. Put it back a week and i could. My vote is kiama as the roads around jamberoo are hilly and twisty... Perfect for the f30!

Any people looking to buy the new f30/31 we will definitely be covered at least I might be the only one with the f31 so far to attend.
