Hi everyone,

Just wondering if Enhanced Bluetooth (EBT) and BMW Apps are possible with a 2016 340i without navigation? I'm been doing tons of research and I'm pretty sure that model comes with the HU_ENTRYNAV. Keep in mind I did not get navigation or the tech package.

I'm fairly certain that the EBT is 100% possible, but not sure about BMW Apps. I don't need the online features (which require the FSC code, right?). I'm only looking to have the native Spotify integration that comes with the iDrive system.

Please forgive me if this is covered elsewhere, I've searched for a while and couldn't find anything concrete.

I have the same car model as you, and have been looking into the same options. I did code the EBT, but it didn't really do anything. The car already streams audio without needing the EBT. What it did do, was add Office menu to iDrive. None of it worked however with my iphone, not email and not texts. Maybe it would if I had an Android, but I really didn't care for having my texts and email on that screen anyway. One annoying thing is not being able to get album covers on the screen using bluetooth streaming, but getting them when using usb cable. With NAV screen however you do get album art using bluetooth and usb.

As far as the apps, anything I found points to not being able to have anything. I'm hoping that's not the case, as I'd love to have spotify and some other stuff too. Anyone?
