Ok for the controller you have to modify some wires, i couldn't find the PDF for F30 in my collection the only one available is for F10.
I did it couple of time, is easy. The 4-pin plug coming from HU to old controller, are current, ground and 2 signals. unplug the 2 wires for Signal (there is a diagram i have will send it you) Now you have to get 2 CAN signals. which are CAN Low and CAN High, you cant get them either from FEM or HU Quadlock. From HU Quadlock: get it from PIN assignment it will be as i remember 9 and 11 (if it didn't work switch between 9 and 11 again (NO Harm as its signals no current) From FEM: From 50 - 51 (As i remember) upper black connector Get the wires put them into the controller, if it didn't work, switch the two wires, then it will work. ------ The problem is that the old controller uses a different type of signal than the old controller. so we have to modify it as i said to you Thats it. ---- Some tips: How to know whether you removed the correct signals or not The current and ground are 1 and 2 from the 4-pin plug, the controller must light up when connect the plug to it even without the signals. If it light up then ok, just get wires from the 2 sources i sent to you above, if not then you unplugged the wrong wires from 4PIN-plug ----- For the Emulator: What emulator did you use? i have never witnessed a normal emulator working for the EVO, just the CAN Filter which is above the 200$ Last edited by Mwahab; 06-21-2017 at 09:10 AM.. |
