Hi all,

When I press once the close button of the key fob with the car already closed, interior lights and door handle lights turn on.

I would like more lights to turn on (front and rear fog lights, for example), because if you are looking for your car in a parking those lights may not be enough.

There are a lot of info for welcome lights but not for this case, at least I found nothing.

Could someone share the coding parameters to be changed, if possible?

If locking car, you are looking for follow-me-home.
If unlocking, you are looking for welcome lights.

Alternatively, you can also use BMW ConnectedDrive App for remote features.

Hi!

I have been searching and testing this during the weekend and I think that there should be a third option or alternative:

- Follow-me-home -> xenon on during few seconds after locking the car.
- Welcome lights -> some lights on (depending on coding) when unlocking the car
- "Searching lights" -> OVT (door handle lights) and interior lights on, when pressing the lock button with the car already locked.

I would like to add more lights to this third option/alternative, if possible.

Any clue will be highly appreciated!

As alternative, activating follow-me-home lights from key fob would be fine, but as far as I have searched, it is not possible in F3x...

Follow-me-home should be configured through IDrive.

As far as I know, the default method from BMW, follow me home is triggered by shutting the car down and pulling the high beam stalker will activate it for the preset time configured in iDrive.

Totally right, but in some Exx they can be coded to be activated from key fob, but it seems it is not possible in Fxx.

While looking into your issue, i have found very useful parameters, which controls like literal everything.

time to start raising windows after pressing lock button
FENSTERHEBER_FREIG_DELAY
and
FH_KURZHUB_DELAY_BEI_TUERE_SCHLIESSEN

Disable Anti-pinch
FH_MANUELL_MIT_EKS

For ( Remote Light) I didnt find any parameter for such thing, there isnt a parameter to control (which output lights when follow me home is triggered, or remote light is)
search for this: CTR_FN_POLI , translate it, and see if there any clue.

I have found different parameters, but they are all abou the duration, already spent one hour looking.

You can also use connected drive to sound the horn if you lost your car in a parking garage as well as flash headlights.

With those parameters you posted, that's to change the time you hold the lock button to raise the windows? Kind of like how you can change the mirrors to fold at 00 instead of holding the lock button?

Every time I go to lock the doors and put up windows, I have to hold the lock down until all windows are up. I would like for it to be one touch and that's it
