The Dropdown box selection is irrelevant. It is only a tool for selecting the Werte Value, which is all that matters. So, try setting Werte Value to 02 directly.
Can you explain where those parameters are:

gesperrt
freigeschaltet_in_Stellung_A
freigeschaltet_in_Stellung_A_und_0

?

I will also try direct code werte value and let you know about it.

They are not mapped. Set the Werte value directly as I wrote.

I set Werte=02 and FLC_AKTIV is now working.

I wonder why it is 02, while when I change from "nicht_aktiv" to "aktiv" in other functions Werte value changes from 00 to 01. In FLC_AKTIV Werte=01 is not working, while Werte=02 is working properly?

You are not understanding what is happening. It is not mapped right in Launcher PREMIUM, so what you see and think is happening is only an illusion. Quit trying to understand what you see, as it is not real. If you are using Launcher's "aktiv" and "nicht_aktiv" to toggle it between Werte 00 and Werte 01, what you are really doing is toggling it between "gesperrt" and "freigeschaltet_in_Stellung_A", which are the correct mappings, and Werte 02, which can only be achieved via a direct Werte value edit is "freigeschaltet_in_Stellung_A_und_0".

Now I understand, thank you.

But this makes for me another question - how can I know that setting something to "aktiv" (for example) will not reflect as real "aktiv" in BMW coding? You wrote about this order in FLC_AKTIV:

gesperrt
freigeschaltet_in_Stellung_A
freigeschaltet_in_Stellung_A_und_0

Is there any documentation that describes what values are *realy* in desired ECU function - I only relay on this what I see in Esys Premium right now, and it would be great to get any better knowledge about it.

It is a leap of faith. You are relying on Launcher's Built-in CAFD Mapping Database created by TokenMaster. It's mostly right is all I can tell you.

What software you advice then for non-commercial use to avoid such problems?

Hi Shaw, by reading this post, I am just wondering whether we can flash back to an older version I Step if there is a problem in a new version. Thanks!

You can flash with any version, older or newer.

Thanks for your quick reply! That is interesting, so flash backwards and forwards are the same process, one just needs to get the right PSTZD data?

Hi all,

I've just had the car istep updated to F025-18-11-520 and now i get an error with esys 'cafd file not found'. I presume esys needs an update.
any idea where i can find some new psdzdata files?

Scrap that, i've got them.

I wasn't sure where to ask this but I see similar questions in this thread so here goes:

I just had my F30 updated at the dealership and according to the VCM it's at F020-16-11-531 now.

I have psdzdata 65.2 (thanks Shawn!) but I'm not sure if that is as recent as what my car has. The most recent "I-Level Overview" PDF I found is for 63.2 which would correlate to F020-17-11-530 if I read it correctly.

Does "I-Step (last)" indicate the version of the pdszdata installed on the computer? In my case that shows F020-16-11-502. I'm assuming "I-Step (shipment)" is what the car had when it left the factory. (F020-13-11-502 in my case.)

I have a 6WB cluster I'd like to install which will require VO coding but I'm hesitant to swap it if E-Sys won't be able to do anything with my car until I update my psdzdata file. (I got the car updated first because according to my Googling it's not possible to do another I-Step update unless I swap in the original cluster.)
