How did you get the alert that your mirror housing had an electrical issue? Did it send a smoke signal? Sorry but I had to, but on a serious note that seriously would have sucked. Glad your car was ok and it wasn't anything serious. Did the Connected app send an alert or something?

I had just pulled into the Airport Parking Garage, and was still in car when smoke started coming out of it.
