Lower door light bulbs

Hi,

Has anyone changed the lights which are on the bottom of the doors to LED white ones ?

Mine are the standard warm white ones at the moment.

Hi Billfitz, not the puddle lights on the door mirrors but the lights on the bottom of the doors which the lights shine onto the road.

Yeah. We know what you're talking about, and those are LED, and they are called puddle lights.

The lamps on the bottoms of the doors are the puddle lamps. They're LED.

The entire car has LED... just a warmer white then what you probably want. You probably are looking for like a 5300k temp.. The stocks look more like a 4000k temp white.

They sell full interior LED kits online but they arn't cheap. And the reason of that is because if you get cheap LED bulbs it'll throw codes.

On my E90 I spent $130 on a full LED conversion, lasted me over 7 years until I sold the car.
