Break-in period for Dinantronics Sport Tuner?
Hi all, been a lurker on this forum for over 3 years and FINALLY decided to do my first most basic mod on my 2016 328i (purchased factory new)!
Upon the first test drive after quickly installing the dinan tune, I could immediately notice the enhanced power gains, and like what everyone else claims, the tune truly does make the car feel more alive, even on 91 octane Sport+ mode. My engine's obviously broken in already, but what's the recommendation you all have for newly installed tunes on cars that haven't been modded whatsoever for a few years? Is there an RPM level I should stay under for a specific amount of time, or can I just go ham on the get go? Thanks and much appreciated! |

Just have at’er. I started with the same mod around 10k miles and didn’t worry about it. The tune will get better as the car adjusts to it over a few miles.
Enjoy and try out race mode with 93 octane for +4 psi if you can. Found it much better than sport+ on 91. |

Just go ham (until you reach the speed limit of course) I had one on for about a year no problems then I switched to a flash.
