I mean they are just like any other OEM. They don't issue recalls unless it's a safety concern. I still get letter in the mail from small things they resolve in my '09 volkswagen. The last one was a replacement fuse i think? I don't even bother to get any of it fixed because it's so minute. But until there's a lot of attention around an issue, they won't fix it. Just like BMW never recalled N54/N55 chargepipes.

$5k engine out for a $300 hose replacement is a safety concern. The car stalls, etc and could be a hazard. The defective top.... image the rear glass window just falling out of your $225,000 car as you drive. Common problem plus the holes in top too. Not sure i'd call the rear window of a car falling out a safety concern, yet it is concerning. JMHO
