Can someone recommend a CPO dealer?

I'm shopping for a CPO F30. I'm in SoCal and am looking for a dealer with at least some ethics. I went to McKenna Norwalk, and let's just say that the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I know there are some good guys n gals out there, just don't know where, hoping some of you can point me in the right direction.

South Bay BMW. Crevier is big, but they're mediocre.

Beverly hills has really good prices due to many people returning their leases.

I bought my CPO two years ago at BMW Monrovia. A specific salesman was referred on here to deal with. I did, and it was great.

Coincidentally they were awarding their long time customers with a track day out at Thermal near Palm Springs. As a first time customer with very short notice, they offered me a last minute spot. I took it and it made my experience that much better.

I had a bad experience with Beverly Hills BMW and can't recommend them. You can read about it here.

If I were to do it again, I would check out Irvine and Valencia BMW.

Sounds like horrible experience.

But why does anyone complete a sale before the car and accessories are not corrected and given to your prior to your signing on the dotted line? At that point you lose all your leverage.

And FWIW, CPO does not cover cosmetic issues. It only covers mechanical.

OP, use this experience to get everything you want corrected prior to signing on the dotted line.

markeys You paid them a fee for paperwork/title. Take them to small claims court for screwing up the title and the extra money it cost you.

Yes, awful experience. I'm done wasting time and energy over Beverly Hills BMW. Not worth the extra effort IMO for small claims (I did get the titling and everything else squared away) Also, I don't trust Beverly Hills' service department as well. They left a pair of vice grips attached to my car's underbelly panel after the 35k mile service (read about it here). For service, I go to Century West BMW and have had good experiences thus far.

OP, yes make sure you get everything your salesperson claims to do in writing and have it corrected before signing;my naivety in buying a used car for the first time.

What you really looking for is a good sales person or a hook up.😁

Talk to Elvis Blohm (Elvis.Blohm@drive.ncbmw.com) at new century bmw. Real straight shooter and good guy. Leased my car from him earlier this month.

Also Dave Townsend (Dave.Townsend@BMWofMurrieta.com) at bmw of Murrieta is good to work with. He offers a lot of help on leasehacker and puts together good deals for customers. Had he had the color I wanted I would've leased with him.

I don't get anything out of referring to these guys. Just passing on good experiences I received when searching for my car. I talked to every dealer in the Bay Area and SoCal. I'm a hard negotiator and these two were willing to make something happen for me.

Beverly Hills BMW. D- on BBB and I should've did my research before buying a car from them. Smh. Went there for a CPO that was advertised, got there and they didn't have it because it wasn't a CPO. So I got a different one that was CPO. Yup, all these parts missing and failed. So much for a CPO. Sales Manager called me and apologized for 'skipping the CPO checklist'.

FWIW, CPO is nice BUT... you may find, that it's about the same or MORE for the price of a bumper to bumper extended warranty from Red or even Zurich.

The BIG advantage of 3rd party warrantees - you can go to ANY mechanic you want as long as they are ASE certified, can warranty their work, etc.

That being said, hope that opens more doors on other BMW cars sold.
