What's up Christian, Did you get the CP installed? Did it fit?

Reviving this thread from last year.... I just ordered my VRSF CP and DP and hoping that fitment will be ALL OK. Has anybody dealt with this issue recently?

Installed my VRSF chargepipe and intercooler today. I cant get this vacuum line to "snap" into place. Its on there pretty hard but not flush. Im forcing it on for sure.

Went for a test drive and lack of power, I have a boost leak somewhere... do you think this could be the source of my issues?

Could be... did you try oiling it a little to slide it on/in?

You could also have a boost leak at the other connection points: IC to CP, coupler, CP to TB, or the bung plugs. Pressure or smoke test is the only way to know for sure.

dunno.. could.be one of many possible reasons. anytime I've had a leak on either of my vrsf cp's it was user error

Very strange. I have not had any issues with any of my vrsf parts: charge pipe, downpipe, intercooler.

Took CP off and was able to snap the vacuum line on. Everything seems to be on tight and installed right. Went out for a hard drive. It seems ok? I dunno I just feel like I had more power before on a cool night. It's like 55 here and would expect with the new intercooler for my butt dyno to kick in.

Maybe it needs time to adapt?

An IC doesn't really add power all by itself when its cold enough for your IATs to not affect your timing, especially if you are on a load based tune.

Ya maybe it's something else. Maybe plugs need changing.

I just figured, whatever the strongest pull I have felt with my car in the past, that it would feel like that all the time.

If I had a boost leak I would know right? CEL or something?

nope not always. if the leak is only present under high boost there won't be a cel

I'll check for soft codes. Also get under the car this weekend to see if something is installed wrong.
