Where is the oil level sensor wiring coming from?

Hi,
My oil level sensor wire has been cut in half. No idea how. The wires just broken off right before the adapter connecting it to the sensor on the oil pan.
I would like to replace the entire wire but I do not know where is it coming from within the engine bay.
Anyone ever done this?

dang shame nobody came thru for you here. I am dealing with this same issue. Apparently its very common. What's not common is the info to find what wiring harness this dang plug is joined to. I am willing to buy the whole harness but there's not 1 source of information online for this. I am resorting to my local dealer parts store and attempt to get this info out of them. If i find the answer, I will let you know. Assuming you still need this haha

My guess would be that the wire comes from the engine ECU. In newtis all info should be there.
