I've got the single slat but do like the twin version too, i think the twin makes it look like a newer version.

I feel like leave the duals for the M cars. I think the duals look better as well but I feel it's reserved for the M cars so I kept the single black kidney grills. But that's just me. Everyone to their own.

I use to think the same but now that BMW jumped on the gloss black grill trend enthusiasts did its not a nice identifier of an enthusiast anymore. Going with the dual slat distinguishes that better i feel.

Curious on your point of view - several folks have mentioned dual slat looks more aggressive. I agree but do you think part of this is also driven by the rim style. I'm looking at replacing my grills and I'm driving on 400m's. I'm wondering if my car looks "aggressive enough" for dual slats (im having the window trim redone in matte black as well)

I feel like you almost need 19's or 403's to a minimum to get the cohesive look. Maybe I'm over thinking it.

What rims you got?

I just bit the bullet and went satin black dual slat.

I agree. While I think it looks good on m-sport trim cars, it is a bit aggressive. I think if you match it with bigger wheels, a drop, and front lip, it fits better.

Dual on a non m-sport trim car looks obviously out of place
