An overpriced key, not worth it. Rather spend the money on actual mods, $1400 can buy you a lot, a dumb key isn't worth it lol.

Some cool features. Some of those are available through the BMW Connected app, but this is way more responsive. Remote start is cool, if only to turn on the AC on an ICE F30. The more the BMW lineup goes hybrid, the higher the chance that the remote AC will work even without the engine starting like the current i3 and i8. I wouldn't remote start to get the engine warm, since I prefer an active warmup, but those of you who live in the cold might appreciate the heater being turned on.

Overall though, the remote is too big and I'd rather be driving the car rather than playing with the remote. That screen is going to get super scuffed unless it comes with a pouch, but then you have to take it out of the pouch to use it. For $1200 it seems silly unless you really want to show off your new toy and impress those lurkers at the local parking lot car meet, just don't tell them how much you paid.

Car finder is already now possible through the BMW Connected app.
Remote start is presumably enabled through additional hardware installed in the car. It is certainly not just the remote control itself (which partially explains the price).
