i ended up copping some off amazon for 35 bucks. they are bright and have the bluish tint. they turned out great

6500K is 6500K no matter who makes the bulb. Light is light is light.
The "Honda blue" is more 7500-8000K. Oem never goes above 6500K because they are DOT mandated to have a minimum lumens output. It may look bluer on luxury cars because they use better projectors and lenses which distribute light 100x better than HIDs in reflector buckets. You can pick out the different colors even easier when the projector is paired with a 100% clear lens. Most OEM use a Fresnel kind of lens that then kind of blends the projected light from the bulb a bit on its way away from the car. Google the lens swaps, it's very popular to do. I've done it on 2 cars three different times using TheRetrofitsource. TRS has great bulbs as well.
