Just curious, any fellow Texans that have vanity plates know how long it takes to get them? The site says 3-4 weeks to arrive at the tax office, just wondering if it actually takes that long or if that's just a buffer estimate. I didn't order custom plates, just the black background/white star with a randomized character combo.

I ordered the UF plate and it took over a month to get here.

Damn. I was hoping to get them before my registration is up on the 5th, but it's not looking that way. Oh well. Thanks!

I ordered literally last may and havent gotten any notification of them coming in, even after reaching out multiple times

I just ordered some this week, they told me 3 weeks and I pick up at my Tax Office. We'll see how long it takes.

Mine ended up at the tax office about 3.5 weeks after I ordered them. My tags had just expired and I didn't wanna go over the 5 day grace period, so I ended up renewing my registration online, and literally the next day the new plates arrived at the tax office

So I had to wait until my renewed tags came in the mail before I could pick up the new plates
