On the hunt for a new F31 - mine was totaled. UPDATE - got one

My beloved F31 was deemed a total loss by my insurance company after some damage to the floor (along with suspension, wheels, etc) that they deemed non repairable. I’m super bummed because I loved my Estoril Blue F31 that I put a lot of time and research into finding and then modifying to my taste. So it goes I guess!

I’m on the hunt for a new LCI F31; preferably 2017 or newer, M Sport, preferably a cool color, and the more tech the better.

Sorry about losing the car, your F31 was definitely a special one. There are definite F31 gems out in the used market, not just BMW CPO but also Carvana and CarMax.

Back around 2017, a few BMW dealers ordered F31s in Individual colors and M-Sport, with pretty much every option available. I'm starting to see some of those cars hit the used market.

Let us know what you end up getting!

Thanks, yeah I remember seeing posts about those cars, will have to keep my eyes peeled!

It's actually amazing how much prices have gone up since I bought my car last June.

Great ending to this story, found another EB F31 in the Bay Area with a ton of fantastic upgrades already done! Very curious if I bought a previous forum members car!

This came from BWM of Fremont! I really lucked out - car was nicely upgraded with M Performance brakes, MPE, Bilstein B8 and Eibach springs, and a few other things. Basically everything I was planning to do to my old wagon!

Thanks! Actually have the BMW bars already, will put them on! I wasn't sure about these mud flaps but they're growing on me.

Congrats on the find! How are you liking the Bilstein B8 and Eibach springs? I want a bit of a drop on mine and I hear the B8's coupled with HR sport springs are close to the m-sport suspension in ride quality. Curious to hear your thoughts on the b8's + eibach

For me, the right height looks perfect. I'm assuming this is one of the F31-specific Eibach kits but the wheel gap looks pretty uniform to me front vs back.

The ride quality feels like an upgrade over my old car, which was stock M Sport suspension with 19" wheels (403Ms). How much of that can be attributed to the suspension setup and how much to the 18" wheels and thicker 245/40 tires, I'm not sure.

In case anyone else is interested, one of these cars just hit the used market.

CPO 2017 328d F31 with all the options, in Daytona Violet, almost 17K on the clock. All for a cool $47K!

Haha, of course it's one of the Century West ones. Individual paint, every m-perf part...
