I recently got new tires for my 328d xDrive after upgrading from 17 to 18 inch wheels. I didn't want to switch between summers and winters due to budget, laziness and just basically not being able to justify a dedicated winter set for a mere 2-3 snowstorms the entire year, so I decided to go with the Michelin AS3+'s since I had heard good things regarding their year round capability and wanted something a little more performance oriented than your standard all season. Well It dumped in New Jersey today so I finally got to test them out in some snow. Roads were unplowed and unsalted for quite a while which gave me ample time to fuck around in my neighborhood and see how these handled. The car took the snow like a champ. I'd say there was a good 4-5 inches on the road, this wasn't a light dusting. These are only rated for light snow supposedly but I had no issues today whatsoever going up and down steep hills and coming to a stop at intersections without sliding or feeling any DSC/ABS intervention. Very happy with these and I'd reccomend them to anyone who isn't buying a dedicated winter set but still needs a capable tire for snow. Best part of the drive was passing multiple SUV's and pickups that couldn't make it up the same hills I was going up with ease.

Good to know real life performance

I use these in the summer here in PA on staggered 19" 437M's - for winter I always switch out to my 18" 400M with Blizzak square setup. Car behaves like a tank with these tires & I like the added cushion of the 18's in Winter

Just got the Blizzaks installed this week before our 1st ice/snow storm yesterday

I live in Jersey too. I'm still using my summer tires (Pirelli P Zero run flats) and they were just awful in the snow. I was thinking about getting winter performance tires but given your review maybe I should consider these too. I have 19 inch wheels and with this setup I lost a few tires last year so I'm about to buy 18 inch wheels.
