Can 335i M-Sport springs fit on a 328i?
Hello everyone!
I'm about to pick up a 335i M-sport suspension from another member on this board, but I was wondering would I be able to use the 335 springs in my 328i? They're both 2013 and I currently have Dinan B8's in the back and about to have Koni Red's in the front. Would the spring rates be too big of a difference since the 335i has a heavier engine? Also how would that affect driving in general? I was originally gonna get ACS springs, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. |

Either way, I ended up having to use 335i struts M-sport struts in the front, since the Koni Special Actives were the AWD version that TireRack sent me. So I couldn't install them. |

When I compare the 335i m sport springs to original springs, there were almost of same height, which is why I didn’t proceed. Think it’s clear now, these springs are meant for heavier engine car.

After a short drive the car is a lot more responsive in comfort mode, when I get home later I'll drive it a bit more and see how it feels. Update: After taking the car on a longer drive today hitting corners doing more turns and what not, in sport mode the car feels amazing. I don't have any dips anymore when it comes to the front and braking is a lot smoother. But my headlights are definitely higher than usual. Last edited by busterifle; 10-22-2018 at 12:24 AM.. |

The first two are after, and the last two are before. I'm sorry for the messy format! It's from my phone. |
