Just when you think your fettled 340 is the daddy...

Along comes a supercar and puts you in your place

Having a brisk drive today and feeling smug that I miffed an sq5 and 370z driver in the Willy waving stakes, I was coming up to another round about onto a dual carrage way when a stunning red lamborghini huracan come belting up and over takes.

Now obviously I had to... it was great fun watching him pull away quite easily (as you would expect!)even with me flooring it in sport plus and it sounded epic! Did it a few times and we exchanged smiles and waves as he turned off.

Nice to see a fellow petrol head enjoying his toy!

Yeah I had something like that a couple of weeks back with a 997 Turbo. Cars like those which can hit 100 in less than 8 secs make you feel like you're standing still!

Well take your handbrake off next time and show him who's The Daddy.

Well you don't want to upset someone in their 250k sports car do you..

It's good to get reminded every now and again the difference between a quick car and properly fast car!

The latter ends up as a smouldering wreck in a field in South Yorkshire.

Were you anywhere near Ashford? There was one at Broadoaks classic meet.
