I would hope that all of the donations made will help the homeless long after Christmas Terry it's not important when it's made but for this cause being as it was Christmas made me more mindful of the homeless than normal, hence why I started this thread.

I would have thought a man who drives three cars would have joined in to show support for the thread and good will at this time of the year not stand on the sidelines telling others how much to spend and trying to avoid joining in by telling everyone how righteous they are all year round.

But you did though Terry you specifically said you donate all year round in an attempt to make me look like I only did this because it was Christmas and a one off, it wasn't a light hearted comment it was a very specific comment aimed directly at me and how much I should spend.

Sorry, wasn't meant to make you feel anything. I applaud how you've got others to donate.

We prefer to donate a smaller amount each month and we review it each year, and I'm happy to look at Shelter for one that we add this year. I'll admit that it seems more worthy to me than the guide dogs, which is one of the ones we have currently! I suppose the one downside to the regular donations is that you feel guilty when you stop one.

Well, I've no idea what the number said at midnight.

But at 8am this morning, it was sitting at 168. Which would translate to £84.

So round it up to £100.

And as I'm in Wales, it's going to Shelter Cymru
