I think it was a fair, non racist question. Nigh on 50% of Luton is non-white. That is a fact. You could look at the question as suggesting that a non white is more successful if he is driving a Rolls Royce.

I think you are right about Luton being a nice place, a friend of mine works in Counter Terrorism and says he spends most of his time now in Luton.

Like everywhere Luton has it's dubious areas. But then so does everywhere - including Bristol, Sheffield, etc. If it hasn't got a bad area it's probably because they have powerful NIMBY councillors protecting their very traditional area.

Luton Hoo is a beautiful hotel with some very well heeled guests and houses some wonderful weddings - at huge expense. I know this! Harpenden is just outside Luton and is one of the most affluent areas in the south east.

I prefer Luton to a few other predominantly white areas I can mention.
