Shadowlines will look like tinted stock lights and not have the big clear part like the blackline.

I'm still unsure if I will change. I want to have LED taillights like the LCI ones, but not willing to pay 1000+€ just for a "gimmick" like lights. Those blackline for 440€ in germany would be a more reasonable price. But I think on my melbourne red F31 they will look like cheap tuning

Waiting for the shadowlines, if they come for same price and just a bit darker than stock LCI lights I'll go for them

Might have a look when I swing by Schmiedmann Tuesday next week (for the DEPO headlights)... Not entirely sold though... LCI might be a bit better for my black car? Damn... Don't really know yet.

For anyone who has already installed them, do you know the manufacturer of the Blackline taillights?
They are much cheaper than the standard LCI taillights and I can't find the reason.

If you are talking about the ones pictured in this thread, they are a BMW M Performance product made by BMW. I would assume they are cheaper, because the LCI lights are only available as a OEM replacement part, and these are specifically made for aftermarket install.

BMW doesn't produce lights but, as for every other part, uses suppliers.
My retroffited LCI taillights are produced by Hella.
Are the Performance Blackline taillights also made by the same or another manufacturer?
That's what I'm asking.
By the way, BMW aftermarket parts, especially the original BMW M performance series ones, are usually (far) more expensive than the standard equipment parts, so I don't get it why these are much cheaper.

Will be retrofitted on a F30 and a F31, both preLCI.
Manufacturer is Hella and they are made in Slovakia.

Just installed on my mineral gray f31 pre-lci. I like them but it looks a little cheap as you see can see reflection from the green circuit board, the part where the fog light is. But only when sun is low.
