Anyone Own a High Security / Protection / Bulletproof BMW?

Just curious if anyone owns a bulletproof BMW. Found a 2012 Bmw Alpina B7 WBAKB8C56CC448090 for sale for (US $279,995.00) which I'm guessing was a Vista BMW vehicle:

Most of your protection cars are going to be in the 760 / B7 class due to the added weight it will bring to the car to armor it.

I'm thinking that the types of people who are looking for a bulletproof BMW, are not the types of people who would give this information on this forum

Had one of those a few years back...tested it and it does protect you...but the cost of paint/body repairs was prohibitive. It took all the fun out of having my friends use it for target practice as I drove by. Mind you they were using 3 AK-47s with the 75 round drum magazines.

I actually looked into bulletproof front windshield, as the stock one is trash and broke twice with small stones on the highway

It's a heavily modified chassis. You won't be swapping any protection-application parts onto a standard chassis.

I used to work at a very high end custom car dealer in Manhattan that also sold armored vehicles. Some random comments: Windows don't roll down. There is an intercom system so the driver can communicate with someone outside the car without opening anything. Everything is super heavy. The guys that are paid to drive these vehicles are usually pretty badass.

Wish I had this! Was even thinking of changing out the glass to bulletproof, as a first step. Right now all I have as far as security is the Alarm System. LOL

Yeah, security measure #1.... anonymity. Also the bullet proof Glass is very very thick not going to fit in any regular car.
