Good afternoon. I'm trying to code my F31 (2016 328xi Touring) which I believe is an F020. I have the ENET OBD cable and have downloaded E-Sys_Setup-3.33.0-53640_64bit (installed fine) and v.63.3_PSdZData_Lite.rar and copied them to a new Windows 10 Home N running under VMware on my Mac. I then tried to run ESysLauncherPremiumSetup_2.8.2_Build_155 but it says it doesn't work under a VM. Problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

VM use not supported by Launcher. Use Bootcamp or a Windows PC.

Yes, Win7 32 or 64 Bit is fine.

Thank you, Shawn. Now that I read back through the forum threads a bit, I see that you know all the ins and outs of coding. I'd be most grateful ff you could tell me where/how to get the right stuff, before I head down more blind alleys.

Love this thread - in fact I created an account just so I can interact with this amazing community! The tutorial seems amazingly straightforward (thnaks Svache!) but the download links for the E-Sys program and datafiles have been removed

Anyone knows how to procure them?

Hi Shawn, I following your setup suggestions and i'm using e-sys 3.27.1 with v.4.21.12_PSdZData_Lite.
However when I try to select the target for my F31 (2016 328xi Touring), which should be F020, there are duplicate options, in addition to the expected duplicate _DIRECT option.

Which one should I use?
Btw, is it safe to use a newer psdzdata (i.e. v.63.3_data_lite) with E-sys-3.27.1?

In Shawns 1.6 guide he states not to select the _Direct option. So just use the one WITHOUT _DIRECT at the end. Sorry, misread that you had already stated the expected duplicate _DIRECT option.

Use bottom (newer) 19-11 target.

E-Sys 3.27.1 supports the latest psdzdata.
