You can use stock flywheel but just make sure it's in good shape. I was going to use my oem flywheel but I figured I'd buy a new one since the car had 50k on it, but when I looked at prices the oem DMFW and a Spec SMFW were the same price, so I opted for the single, and I'm glad I did. My oem flywheel had a TON of burnt marks on it from the previous owner

oh ok good info
i live in upstate ny. not a whole lot of places i tust to do the clutch. so im prolly going to dealer. what are the chances they install a 335is 550i clutch and smfw? ill have to provide smfw. |

been playing phone tag with them. i will update if they do it. but you figure its the clutch that is on the 550i stock. so is it really considered aftermarket? it is in the sense that it wasnt on the car from factory but they should have these 550i clutches by BMW on hand. its not an aftermarket company right?
