Bluetooth Call Quality
Hi guys, I have noticed with the F30 the Bluetooth call quality is really excellent; not had a single person who asked me to repeat anything or said the voice quality on the other end was poor. My last car was a 2005 Lexus with built-in Bluetooth for phone; the call quality was definitely not as good.
I also like the way recent numbers/names appear on the HUD when you press the phone button on the steering wheel, very handy. I am using iPhone 4 (now 4s). What are other's experiences with this? |

Ditto! And the transition from device audio to car audio is very seamless... Person on the other line usually couldn't tell i was taking the call from my car. Bravo BMW
I'm using a BlackBerry... |

I agree completely. My wife's '11 MDX requires you to freakin' yell so the person on the other end can hear you. My wife's first comment regarding the F30 was about the clarity of the bluetooth connection.

Yes, quality is quite good in my F30. My 2007 G35 sucked at Bluetooth.

Bluetooth quality so far has been fantastic. Everytime I make a phone call, I have never had a complaint from the person on the line. Actually, my wife can hear me better via Bluetooth in our Bimmer compared to when I call directly from my iPhone. Thumbs up to Bimmer for this! Now if only voice recognition was up to the same standards, but that is for another thread.

Had a few folks doubt that I was calling from my car. They said that they could tell it was some sort of speaker phone but figured it was a polycom or such. |

I tried using bluetooth audio with my iPhone 3gs and while the sound quality isn't bad, it did randomly stop playing more than once. It got annoying so I just bought another apple cable instead :P audio through USB - no issues

Absolutely agree. E92 was awful to the point I resorted to using a wired headset. Bluetooth audio is great except alerts are suppressed even when I'm listening to a different audio source.

The bluetooth works great in my car paired with my galaxy SII. Clear on both ends. The only real background noise heard from the car is the air conditioning when I have it on max to cool the car down after its been sitting in the Arizona sun for a while. The streaming audio works great too. I haven't tried the USB hookup yet.
